Lunch menus

School Lunch

 

Facilities Management are the caterers responsible for providing our school lunches.

They use a three-week menu cycle and the menus change twice a year – one for Autumn and Winter and one for Spring and Summer. Dietary requirements can be accommodated and parents would be involved in making sure the food their child eats meets their specific dietary needs.

Packed lunches

If your child does not wish to have a school meal they may bring in a packed lunch.
We are a nut free school and do not permit any items containing nuts for the safety of children with allergies.
All staff receive allergy training line with the Government statutory guidance of September 2026.
Please see the information and guidelines below to help you and your child make healthy lunchbox choices.
ITEMS NOT PERMITTED – MEDICAL REASONS – SEVERE ALLERGIES IN SCHOOL
NO NUTS – This includes Peanut Butter.
NO KIWI FRUIT.
NO CHOCOLATE SPREAD – as may contain nuts.
ITEMS NOT PERMITTED – NON-HEALTHY CHOICES
NO SWEETS.
NO CHOCOLATE BARS – e.g. Mars Bar/Galaxy
NO FRUIT JUICE – Water is provided for all children at lunchtime.
Please note grapes and cherry tomatoes must be cut in half long ways to prevent choking hazard.

Milk

School milk is free for under-5s.

For children over 5s milk is available at a subsidised price of 28p per day.

Our milk is provided by Cool Milk.

Each child that registers with Cool Milk will receive a 189ml portion of semi-skimmed milk every day.

School milk provides children with essential nutrients and is a healthy snack between breakfast and lunch to help children stay focused.

How to Register

If your child is under five:

  • Register online at www.coolmilk.com
  • Register by Tuesday at 5pm for your child’s free milk to start the following week
  • Free milk will continue until the Friday before your child’s fifth birthday. You will receive a payment request four weeks before their birthday – if you wish your child to continue to receive school milk, simply make a payment.

If your child is older than five or older:

  • Register and pay online at www.coolmilk.com
  • You can pay Cool Milk on line half termly, termly or in annual instalments
  • Please pay by Tuesday at 5pm for your child’s milk to start the following week
