Intent, implementation and impact Statement
At Hollingwood Primary School, personal development and wellbeing sit at the heart of everything we do. Our intent is to nurture every child and provide them with the knowledge, skills and experiences they need to become confident, happy and successful lifelong learners.
We bring this vision to life through six key areas: our curriculum, our environment, family partnerships, pupil voice, school culture and enrichment opportunities.
Each of these elements works together to ensure that children feel valued, supported and inspired to grow. Through these experiences, pupils develop resilience, respect and tolerance, enabling them to flourish both academically and personally. We want every child who leaves Hollingwood to blossom into a thoughtful, capable individual who is well prepared to contribute positively to society.

Each Year group has a bespoke personal development and enrichment offer to ensure that our children are exposed to a range of experiences and oppurtunities and are allowed to make fun memories before they leave Hollingwood.

We have been part of the Oral Health Programme and received recognition for our commitment to children’s oral health.

We have been awarded the Silver Healthy Minds Chartermark for the work we are doing around Mental Health.
The MHST team have worked extensively with school and we have a nurse based in school every Wednesdays supporting children , classes and parents.
We work closely with Living Well providing a range of services for families and children.
